This video for Goodwin University was created in mid-2020 amidst the unfolding backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic. While restrictions were easing, uncertainty was everywhere and potential students were reluctant to sign-on to long-term commitments like higher education.
We opted to use the moment to confront hesitation head-on, reminding viewers that there was no better time to show the world what they’ve got.
Collaborating virtually and iterating quickly, we went from initial concept to finished video in one week. I co-wrote the script, collected the stock footage and assembled the edit using Adobe Premier.
This video was well-received on social media, featured on landing pages, and was honored with a Gold Award in the Digital Video Ad-Less than 2 minutes category in the 36th Annual Educational Advertising Awards.
